Source and evidence standards

• Prefer primary technical documentation, recognised standards bodies and clearly attributable engineering references where available.
• Separate established principles from interpretation, examples and operational suggestions.
• Avoid unsupported claims of compliance, performance, certification or universal applicability.
• Do not present vendor marketing language as independent technical evidence.

Review process

1. Define the reader, question and safety sensitivity.
2. Collect relevant source material and terminology.
3. Draft with explicit assumptions and limitations.
4. Review technical consistency, clarity and potentially hazardous ambiguity.
5. Publish with review metadata and a correction route.

Use of automated tools

Automated research or drafting tools may assist with outlining, terminology checks and early drafts. They do not replace source review or editorial responsibility. Material should not be published solely because an automated system produced it.

Corrections and updates
